You will always find the Corona updates for your visit at the market and the museum here on the website of the Viking Museum Haithabu.
Of course, it may be that we have to cancel planned activities, such as workshops for visitors or archery, at short notice. These are activities where you do get quite close to each other. We therefore reserve the right to adjust this according to the, at the market currently applicable, Corona guidelines.
Of course we try and hope to offer you as many activities as possible.
Getting to the Viking Museum Haithabu
The Viking Museum Haithabu is located about four kilometers southeast of Gottorf Castle in the municipality of Busdorf, district Haddeby.
Arrival by car:
The address for your navigation device is: Am Haddebyer Noor 5, 24866 Busdorf. This will take you to the museum’s free parking lot.
Freeway A7 Hamburg – Flensburg, exit Schleswig/Jagel.
The museum is located on the main road 76 between Schleswig and Eckernförde.
Please plan a walk of approx. 20 minutes from the car park or the shuttle terminals to the market site.
Arrival by train and bus:
Hamburg – Flensburg railroad line. From Schleswig train station, it is about a three-kilometer walk or take bus line 4810 of the travel company Autokraft in the direction of Kiel to the Haddeby stop (travel time max. 5 minutes).
